QRT Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

QRT is developed and distributed by La Régie Apps. Show-control information remains on your local network. Only the minimum data required for purchasing and per-Mac activation is sent to our licence service.

Data processed on your Mac

QRT stores its settings, display preferences, role profiles and remaining trial credit locally. This information remains in the application data on your Mac.

The QLab OSC passcode, any browser-display passwords and a trial-credit record are stored in the macOS Keychain. The trial credit is also kept in application preferences to prevent accidental resets.

QRT communicates directly over your local network with QLab. Cue information received by QRT is not sent to La Régie Apps.

Browser display is disabled by default. If you enable it, QRT serves the selected information locally to authorised devices. This connection uses HTTP and should be limited to a trusted network.

In-app purchases

The QRT for QLab purchase, additional activations and restoration are handled by Apple through StoreKit. To verify entitlement and count authorised Macs, QRT sends the technical transaction identifiers supplied by Apple to our licence service.

La Régie Apps does not receive your Apple credentials or payment details. Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Per-Mac activation register

The register stores a QRT-specific purchase identifier, a random installation identifier, the Mac display name, the QRT version, activation dates and additional-activation purchases. This data is used only to activate, transfer, restore and administer licences.

QRT does not create a named user account, include advertising, use marketing tracking or send usage analytics to La Régie Apps. Activation data is never sold or shared for advertising purposes.

No data from QLab is stored on our servers.

Deleting local data

You can remove QRT from your Mac at any time. Any preferences retained by macOS can also be removed from your user account’s local application data.

Secrets saved in the Keychain can be removed with the macOS Keychain Access application.

If you need help locating or deleting this data, contact us.
